The Mountain Mat Photo Contest celebrates real customers using Mountain Mats for camping, RV travel, outdoor recreation, family adventures, and community events across North America.

This quarter’s entries highlighted the many ways Mountain Mat helps create comfortable outdoor spaces—from inclusive community programs and therapeutic camps to relaxing campground patios shared with family, friends, and four-legged companions. We were inspired by the creativity, purpose, and joy reflected in every submission.
After reviewing all entries, we’re excited to announce our Grand Prize Winner and Featured Finalist.
Grand Prize Winner
Therapeutic play, friendship, and outdoor adventure made Mighty Hands Camp a standout winner this quarter.
Alison Liddle
Alison Liddle’s winning submission highlights the power of outdoor spaces to bring people together. During a week of Mighty Hands Camp, Mountain Mats were used to create comfortable activity areas for children with hemiplegia and their families as they participated in therapeutic games, social activities, and community-building experiences.
Mighty Hands Camp is an inclusive program designed to provide children and families with opportunities to connect, play, and grow in a supportive environment. Through fun, engaging activities, the camp fosters confidence, belonging, and meaningful connections among participants.
We were honored to see Mountain Mats playing a small role in such an impactful program and are proud to recognize Alison’s entry as the Grand Prize Winner of the Summer 2026 Mountain Mat Photo Contest. Her submission beautifully demonstrates how outdoor recreation spaces can support not only adventure and relaxation, but also community, inclusion, and connection.

Featured Finalist
Michelle Neal-Fry
Michelle Neal-Fry’s submission showcased one of the best parts of camping—creating a comfortable outdoor space where everyone can relax, including the dogs. During her family’s first camping trip with their Mountain Mat, Michelle used a Brown & Tan 8×20 Mountain Mat to transform their campsite into a spacious, dog-friendly patio.
The oversized mat provided a clean, durable surface outside the RV, creating an inviting outdoor living area for relaxing between adventures. As Michelle shared, “Mountain Mat 8×20 for the win! Size is perfect and our first camp trip was a success. Dogs approved.”
We’re thrilled to feature Michelle’s entry as our Summer 2026 Featured Finalist and love seeing Mountain Mat helping campers extend their living space beyond the RV while keeping both two-legged and four-legged family members comfortable.
