The Mountain Mat Photo Contest celebrates real customers using Mountain Mats for camping, RV travel, outdoor recreation, family adventures, and community events across North America.
Thank you to everyone who submitted photos to the Spring 2026 Mountain Mat Photo Contest.
This quarter’s entries showcased everything from RV adventures and family camping trips to beach outings, dog-friendly excursions, and community events. We loved seeing the many ways our customers use Mountain Mat to create a clean, comfortable outdoor living space wherever their adventures take them.
After reviewing all submissions, we’re excited to announce our Grand Prize Winner and Featured Finalist.
Grand Prize Winner
Caroline Cozatti’s winning photo shows children gathered on Mountain Mats during a youth sailing program at Mass Audubon.
Caroline Cozatti
Mass Audubon Youth Sailing Program uses Mountain Mats in a way we never anticipated—but absolutely love. During their ground school sessions, instructors create an outdoor classroom where young sailors gather under shade tents to learn, prepare, and build confidence before heading out on the water.
What stood out to us wasn’t just the setup—it was the mission behind it. These mats help transform an open patch of ground into a welcoming space where kids can focus, learn, and connect with nature. Whether they’re discussing sailing fundamentals, reviewing safety procedures, or simply taking a break between activities, the mats create a clean and comfortable place for the group to come together.
We often think of Mountain Mats at campsites, beaches, and RV parks, but seeing them used to support outdoor education reminds us that “Claim Your Space” can mean so much more. Caroline Cozatti and the team at Mass Audubon are helping the next generation develop skills, confidence, and a love for the outdoors—and we’re honored that Mountain Mat gets to play a small role in that experience.
For their creative and meaningful use of Mountain Mats in youth outdoor education, we’re proud to name Mass Audubon Youth Sailing Program our Spring 2026 Grand Prize Winner.

Featured Finalist
Chris Korinek
Sometimes the best feedback is also the simplest.
Chris shared this photo from the very first camping trip with his new Mountain Mat, along with a message that made us smile: “Our first camping use of the Mountain Mat and we love it!”
Set up beside a Winnebago Navion, the black-and-white Mountain Mat creates a comfortable outdoor living space under the awning—turning a patch of dirt into a clean, inviting campsite. It’s exactly the kind of everyday adventure we designed Mountain Mat for.
Thank you, Chris, for sharing your setup and for making Mountain Mat part of your camping adventures. We hope it’s the first of many trips to come!
