The 2nd Annual PNW Buzz-In Is Coming to Bellingham — And It's Going to Be a Blast!
Mark your calendars, Buzz fans: the Pacific Northwest Buzz-In is back for round two, and this time we’re aiming even bigger! Save the date for Saturday, August 22nd, 2026, from 10am to 2pm, at the Boardmill Building, 300 West Laurel Street in Bellingham, WA.
What Is the PNW Buzz-In?
If you own — or are just obsessed with — the all-electric VW ID. Buzz, this is your people’s event. Last year’s inaugural Buzz-In pulled in roughly 19 Buzz vans and a whole lot of good energy. This year, the goal is simple: more vans, more vibes, more community.
Whether you’re a proud Buzz owner, EV-curious, or just love a good parking lot full of retro-futuristic vans in every color of the rainbow, this free community meetup is for you.
Peace Vans Will Be There!
Peace Vans will be on-site showing off their full camper conversion with a pop top, plus a lineup of Buzz vans featuring our popular kitchen box with sleeper setup. And if we’re lucky, we might even have a sneak peek at a prototype of the much-anticipated “Weekender” conversion — so come say hi and be among the first to see it in person.
Beyond the gear, the best part of the Buzz-In is always the people. It’s the perfect chance to swap EV road trip stories, camping tips, and van-life wisdom with fellow Buzz owners who get exactly why you love this van as much as you do.
Meet the Sponsors & Vendors
This year’s Buzz-In wouldn’t be possible without the support of some fantastic local partners:
- Swickard Volkswagen of Bellingham — on hand to answer all your Buzz ownership and buying questions
- Peace Vans — camper conversions, kitchen boxes, and pop tops
- Mountain Mat — colorful, functional outdoor mats made for van life
- Terra Wagen — gear built for adventure
You’ll find the growing vendor lineup set up in the Hive Market, so leave a little extra time to browse.
Why Mountain Mats and the VW Buzz Are a Match Made in Van-Life Heaven
Here’s a fun little detail we can’t stop thinking about: the VW ID. Buzz comes in some of the boldest, most joyful colors on the road right now — sunset orange, electric blue, bright teal — and Mountain Mat’s lineup of colorful outdoor mats practically begs to be unrolled right alongside them. Pull into a campsite, toss down a Mountain Mat in a color that pops just as hard as your Buzz’s paint job, and suddenly your whole setup looks like it was styled for a magazine cover. It’s not just about looking good (though it does) — it’s about that same playful, adventurous spirit that made you fall in love with the Buzz in the first place. Function meets fun, and honestly, that’s the whole vibe of this event.
